Just for fun, I analyzed a dataset consisted of birthdays of people who applied for a Federal Communications Commission license for much of the 20th Century. I compared the number of births on each day with the phase of the moon on that day. With 94 years of data, 34,661 days, I can definitely say that there is utterly & completely no correlation between the phase of the moon and the number of births on a given day. The urban legend that more babies are born on the day of a full moon is complete hogwash.
