Are More Babies Born on Nights of the Full Moon?

Just for fun, I analyzed a dataset consisted of birthdays of people who applied for a Federal Communications Commission license for much of the 20th Century. I compared the number of births on each day with the phase of the moon on that day. With 94 years of data, 34,661 days, I can definitely say that there is utterly & completely no correlation between the phase of the moon and the number of births on a given day. The urban legend that more babies are born on the day of a full moon is complete hogwash. The image here is just a screen shot of a tiny portion of the spreadsheet illustrating this absence of correlation.

Here is the spreadsheet source if you would like to examine it further. It would be interesting to see alternative graphical presentations of the data.
